Heckler #46: My two fave zines this month are polar opposites.
Skatedork has been written about previously in these pages, but
it keeps getting better, so here goes again. Skatedork is all about
having fun skating. B&W zine style layouts that are half computer,
half cut & paste with above average photo quality for a zine,
with a design ethic that keeps getting cooler. But the best part
of Skatedork is the writing. Check out TWSk8 for the inspiring photos
and then check this zine for the inspiring writing. There's a bit
of a punk rock ethos to the zine, with columns up front and articles
on things like friendship and bearing maintenance.
